Harry is going back to Hogwarts for his third year. Sirius Black is an escapee of Azkaban. People are thinking that Sirius escaped to kill Harry. Before Harry can go, he has an obnoxious aunt visiting. When she leaves, Harry does too. On the Hogwarts Express, a guardian of Azkaban comes looking for Sirius Black. With Professor Lupin, a new and reasonable Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher and Buckbeak, a hippogriff, Harry feels at home. Well, except the fact that there are more guardians at school. When Buckbeak is slaughtered and Ron is pulled into the Whomping Willow, Harry, Ron and Hermione will have to discover the secrets behind Professor Lupin and Harry's family tree.
I recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the first two Harry Potter novels and who likes plot twists.
